I didn't quite know what to do with myself today; felt strangely restless. Maybe it's because I haven't created anything new in a while? After wrapping a bunch of briolettes for necklaces and earrings, I made the earrings pictured on the left. Those are tri-colour sapphires (blue-green-yellow) atop polished prasiolite (green amethyst). They're really sparkly but it's so not apparent in the photos. I ended up taking them too late in the afternoon and the sun was coming in directly through the window. I really hate these pictures, even after Photoshop correction. The sun washed out everything and made my blue background look brown! The other earrings on the right are ones that have been lying around for a while - more prasiolite on heavily oxidised (twice, actually, because the first time wasn't black enough) sterling with hammered marquise drops and Swarovski crystal pearl details on the earwires. Will have to reshoot everything tomorrow. Ugh.
