necklaces
I've been so distracted... Sat down and tried to work today (and yesterday) but my ideas have been incomplete and at worst, half-formed. What's more, I really do need to put everything away so they won't gather dust or get lost while I'm not here. Plus there's much cleaning and packing to be done. BAH.
As I will be putting up with an aunt when in Adelaide - who's also celebrating her birthday with a full Aussie barbie on the day of my arrival - I can't possibly turn up empty-handed (aside from the 2kg of Malaysian coffee powder she's already requested). I'm not entirely sure what kind of jewellery she prefers, but I thought she might like something in gold, and this simple solitaire necklace made from my single remaining chrysoprase briolette is classic, bold yet delicate, and easily layered with other pieces.
Also, I've been holding on to these pink topaz drops for a few months, lamenting the difference in sizes and the pretty pair of earrings they would never make. So I thought what the heck, they can go on a simple necklace too, this time as a duet for double the sparkles.
Lastly, I picked up a few sheets of new background papers yesterday which I'm really pleased with, so obviously I'll be reshooting some stuff when I come back. Now I'm off to prepare some promos to be sent out.
Bye for now.

- These necklaces are beautiful. I love the backgrounds you picked for each of them. They're so pretty together. You do such wonderful work. :)
