new necklacesI haven't been moving as quickly as I'd like, but I wanted to replenish my depleted collection of necklaces. Here are some I finished last Friday:

Lavande - Brilliant pink amethyst solitaires on sterling silver chain. Had a hard time photographing them because they are just so bright and reflective. I never know why pink amethysts are called pink... they're basically a very pale purple aren't they?

Miel Lariat - Hey look, it's olive topaz. Not to be confused with smoky topaz, whiskey quartz and other brown gems with fancy whatnot names, this one has an olive tone to it, though it's still got a warm honey colour (this photo has been processed and colours are not 100% true-to-life). In 14K goldfill, what else.

Cotton Candy Lariat - OK, so actually cotton candy is opaque. But this fabulous rose quartz briolette is really quite clear and has a warm pink tone; you don't often see them like this. And although pink is not my colour, I think it looks lovely with the white freshwater pearls (I selected the ones with pinkish lustre), lavender amethyst and pink topaz. Certainly what I would imagine seeing on a totally girly-girl.

They will be listed over the next couple of days in my shop. More are in the works, as I'm still into briolettes and lariats...
