By now some of you will know that when I run out of inspiration or just don't feel like creating anything, I like to reshoot product photos - especially for items in my Etsy shop. I do this also because there are a number of older ones originally shot on my Canon IXUS in an older style and I just want to have them retaken with my dSLR for consistency.

I guess it's not a bad idea, giving a new look to an existing item or even just changing the "main" pic for your Etsy listing. I reshot my sterling silver Flint Hoops on Monday and they were featured on the front page last night ;)

Elsewhere on the Etsy front, I've just had my first Alchemy request. It's very behind-the-scenes and strictly buyer-seller only. The buyer doesn't even get to checkout the item in store, it apparently goes straight into the sold items when completed, and I had to send my own Paypal invoice. Zzzzzz.

Quite aghast at how quickly this week has flown by, even though I haven't been creating anything (other than restocking and custom orders). I really ought to tidy up my work desk so I can get a new table, new clamp, new mandrel..... ah.

I need to clear up before I can even think about getting anything else. There's no room to put anything :(
